Thermal Energy Storage-as-a-Service is a pay out of savings financial solution that permits clients to execute TES projects without any initial capital expenditure. Viking Cold handles all TES aspects of project development, construction, and ongoing maintenance expenses. Upon the completion of the TES upgrades, the client commits to long-term service payments. These payments are calculated based on the real-world performance of the equipment, such as actual energy savings, leading to immediate reductions in operational costs. These agreements typically take the form of thermal energy services agreements, with durations ranging from five to fifteen years in most instances.
