Viking Cold’s Thermal Energy Storage (TES) technology was installed in a facility with GCCA co-member Dreisbach Enterprises. The addition of this efficiency and demand shift technology into Dreisbach’s freezers was featured in the publication’s first ever “Cold Chain Innovations” section. Dreisbach experienced an immediate reduction in refrigeration equipment run time, significant load reduction during peak pricing periods, and stable temperatures throughout the entire freezer.
